Q: Is the Bill Blade TIA approved?
A: No, it is not. I travel often and I wear my Bill Blade hat and I put the knife in my check in bag.

Q: Is this legal?
A: It is perfectly legal in all 50 States. You can carry it anywhere you can legally carry a pocket knife.

Q: What is the blade made of?
A: The blade and waterfowl finisher are made from 410 High Carbon Stainless Steel which is then covered with a baked on ceramic coating call Cerakote which helps prevent the blade from rusting.

Q: What is the sheath made of?
A: The sheath is made out of a fiberglass infused nylon. It is the same thing that AR15 parts are made out of.
